Call us at 800.235.6273 or fill out the form to request a no cost or obligation portrait consultation in your home, office or other preferred location, with one of our full-time LEON LOARD™ Artists’ Representatives throughout the southeast. Your Area Artists’ Representative will contact you to schedule a convenient day and time to visit and conduct the oil portrait consultation.
During the consultation, we will share all 3 types of oil portraits that LEON LOARD™ offers, share several actual painted portraits and portfolios, describe the entire portrait process, and answer all of your questions.

Your Area Artists’ Representative will schedule your oil portrait sitting. There is a $300 sitting fee for a single subject sitting. with your help. Please refer to FAQ’s for tips on how to prepare for your sitting.
The oil portrait sitting is conducted in the convenience of your home, office, or other preferred location. The session is conducted by a LEON LOARD™ Staff Photographer and normally lasts approximately one hour.
Step 3. The Proof Review
After the oil portrait sitting, your Artists’ Representative will return to your home within one week of the sitting for proof review. He/she will guide you in selecting the most portrait worthy pose and expression, explain background options, gain necessary information to relay to the artist, and guide you in refining all portrait details.
Your Artists’ Representative will also assist you in your selection of portrait type, size, artist (if applicable), and frame. An initial 50% payment is also requested at this meeting.
Step 4. The Portrait Approval
Upon completion of the portrait, your Artists’ Representative will email you a digital image of the portrait for approval. This is your opportunity to request any adjustments/tweaks BEFORE the portrait is shipped or delivered.
After approval, the client will be contacted by our office to discuss shipping details and payment options.
